This workshop will teach you how to craft a high-quality investor pitch deck that stands out.  We will focus on the critical elements that will bolster the substance, structure, and appearance of your pitch.  We will discuss how to become an effective presenter. If you already have a pitch deck, please bring it for discussion.  By following the practices learned in this workshop, you will dramatically increase your odds of having an investor consider funding your business opportunity.

Instructor

Dennis R. Pape is the founder of Florida Venture Sourcing and managing director at Central Florida Technology Ventures and AlphaLaunch.  He has worked with and for both startups and investors over the last 10 years.  Prior to that he founded and built a venture-backed photonics startup in Melbourne and worked for a venture-backed new venture creation company in Orlando.  This workshop is based on his experience in building, presenting, listening to, and evaluating hundreds of investor presentations as well as guidance from venture industry leaders.Most recently he developed the 4-slide deck meet.com presented at TechVenture 2011 in Orlando in December and a 10-slide deck that is now being used by meet.com to pitch potential investors.
